Atresmedia's The Maid’s Daughters Goes Global
Atresmedia Sales has secured several international agreements for The Maid’s Daughters (Las hijas de la criada), which will air in Portugal on RTP, Ireland on TG4, Finland on YLE, Romania on Antena Group and Croatia on HRT. Starring Verónica Sánchez, Carlota Baró and Alain Hernández, the series is based on the novel by Sonsoles Ónega, winner of the Planeta Prize. Its international expansion follows a strong performance in Spain, where it became atresplayer’s most successful launch in three years and ranked as the most-watched Spanish series in prime time in September on Antena 3. International consultancy THE WIT also selected the production as one of the most noteworthy titles on the global stage.

Other Atresmedia fiction titles generated strong interest among buyers at MIPCOM 2026, including Adrift (A la deriva), starring Paula Echevarría, Daniel Grao and Michel Noher; police procedural Agata & Lola (Ágata y Lola), starring Eva Martín and Mireia Oriol; thriller Hidden Brushstrokes (Trazos ocultos), featuring Toni Acosta and Rodolfo Sancho; and the second season of Between Lands (Entre tierras), starring Megan Montaner.
Dreams of Freedom, starring Natalia Sánchez, Oriol Tarrasón and Dani Tatay, continues its international expansion. The series, which airs on Antena 3, has begun its new season with its best September performance to date and is available in Latin America and Brazil on HBO Max, Latvia and Lithuania on TV3, Romania on Happy Channel, Poland on TVP Play and across the Middle East.

Through Atresmedia Sales, the group continues to expand the international reach of its Spanish-language fiction catalogue, which includes titles such as Money Heist, Ángela, Losing Judgement, Veneno, Locked Up, Velvet, Grand Hotel, Alba, The Cook of Castamar and Love You To Death.
