Final Call for 2026 TCCF Pitching Submissions
The 2026 Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF), organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), will take place from November 6 to 9 at Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, with submissions for the TCCF Pitching closing at 12:00 PM (GMT+8) on July 6. Positioned as one of Asia’s key content industry events, this year’s edition introduces a significant upgrade to its awards structure, with multiple organizations joining as sponsors for the first time or increasing their prize contributions.

A major highlight of the 2026 edition is the participation of Dongha Lee, the producer behind the Train to Busan franchise, who will mentor selected teams during the pitch training programme. Lee, president of South Korea’s Red Peter Films, produced Poetry, which won Best Screenplay at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival, and played a key role in the globally successful Train to Busan franchise, including Train to Busan: Peninsula.
This year, several institutions are introducing new awards or increasing prize funds. Among cross-session awards, the Hakka Public Communication Foundation is launching the HPCF Confluence Award (TWD 600,000 / approx. USD 21,000), aimed at supporting films that foster understanding across diverse life experiences while reflecting values rooted in Hakka culture.
Taiwan High Speed Rail is introducing the THSR Beautiful Journey Award (TWD 500,000 / approx. USD 17,500), encouraging storytelling that transcends geography, culture and generations, inspired by the railway’s role in connecting communities across Taiwan.

The New Media, Entertainment and Audio Development Association (NMEA) is increasing its prize to TWD 500,000 (approx. USD 17,500) and will recognize the best cross-industry collaboration proposal, with winners invited to participate in association activities. Taiwan Mobile is also raising its award to TWD 500,000 (approx. USD 17,500) and launching its Commercial Content Creation Talent Program” selecting two screenwriters across multiple categories for two years of financial support and tailored training resources.
In the Feature Film section, the Chiayi City Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau is introducing the FPHAH Chiayi – Chiayi Story Development Award (TWD 500,000 / approx. USD 17,500), encouraging projects set in Chiayi to support the city’s cultural and film industry development.

In animation, the Animation and Visual Effects Association of Taiwan is establishing a new award (TWD 300,000 / approx. USD 10,500) to support local animation and VFX talent and expand opportunities for original IP. In documentary, the Mega Bank C&E Foundation is launching the Best ESG Award (TWD 300,000 / approx. USD 10,500), rewarding projects that highlight environmental, social and governance themes.
A wide range of returning international partners also continue their support in 2026. These include France’s CNC, udnFunLife, Kaohsiung Film Archive and Italy’s FEFF in the Feature Film section; TVBS, EBC and First Commercial Bank in Series; Doc Edge in Documentary; Formosa TV, Good Image, SET TV and GALA PICTURES INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. in Story; and South Korea’s Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) and Blintn, among others, reinforcing TCCF’s global industry network.

Submission fees for the Project category are TWD 1,500 (approx. USD 52.5) per entry. Submissions for the Story category are free of charge, though selected projects invited to pitch publicly will incur a pitching fee of TWD 1,200 (approx. USD 42) per entry. All submissions must be received by 12:00 PM (GMT+8) on Monday, July 6, 2026.
