A+E Korea premieres Love In Sync on July 4, marking the latest Korean drama investment from the company as it expands its premium original content strategy. The series stars Kim Myung-soo, Kang Min-ah, Kwon So-hyun and Shin Woo-gyeom. Written by Jung Yeon and Kim Sung-rae and directed by Kim Chil-bong, the drama is presented by A+E Global Media and produced by WEMAD, LG U+ and MBC C&I.
Love In Sync follows Yoo Ji-an, a top star with little ability to empathize, and Cha Eun-hwan, a psychological counselor who absorbs the emotions of those around him. A mysterious phenomenon called emotional transference links the two characters, forcing them to confront their own emotional limitations and gradually develop a deeper understanding of others.
A+E Korea is leading both the production investment and global distribution of the series, underscoring its strategy of connecting Korean drama IP with international audiences through co-productions and partnerships with broadcasters and streaming platforms. Since entering the Korean market in 2017, the company has expanded across development, production investment, international sales and distribution. Over the past decade, it has invested in 13 Korean drama series that have been released across multiple territories and platforms worldwide.
Kim Myung-soo plays Cha Eun-hwan, whose unconventional counseling methods have made him a well-known public figure. Kang Min-ah stars as Yoo Ji-an, a former girl group member whose self-centered worldview begins to shift after meeting Eun-hwan. Kwon So-hyun appears as Han Yi-jin, Ji-an’s former bandmate and rival, while Shin Woo-gyeom plays Dong-kyung, Eun-hwan’s energetic best friend.
“The cast’s outstanding performances will bring credibility and emotional depth to the fresh concept of emotional transference,” the production team said. “We hope viewers will pay close attention to the multidimensional changes each character experiences within this extraordinary situation.”
Love In Sync premieres on July 4 at 10:50 p.m. KST on Lifetime Korea, LG U+tv Mobile and Disney+ in Korea. Internationally, the drama will stream on Disney+ in Japan and on Viu across multiple territories in Southeast Asia, Oceania and the Middle East.
