Keshet International has secured a new raft of international tape sales for The Baker and the Beauty, confirming the continuing global appeal of Keshet’s romantic comedy format. The global producer and distributor has closed deals for several versions of the property, including all three seasons of the original Israeli series for global streamer IZZY TV, the French adaptation La Belle et Le Boulanger for Mediaset España and Suspilne Ukraine, and the Indian Telugu-language adaptation for Flow in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Created by Assi Azar for Keshet 12, The Baker and the Beauty follows the unexpected love story between a humble baker and an international superstar. The scripted format has become one of Keshet’s most recognizable international titles, with five local adaptations produced to date and a ranking of 44th in K7’s 2026 Tracking the Scripted Giants report.

IZZY TV has acquired all three seasons of the original Israeli series, Lihyot Ita, starring Aviv Alush (Valley of Tears) and Rotem Sela (A Body That Works). Seasons one and two, both 10x60’, are already available on the platform, while season three, comprising 4x60’, will premiere outside Israel for the first time on IZZY TV from July 9, 2026. The complete series will be offered with subtitles in Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.

Keshet International has also licensed La Belle et Le Boulanger, the French 4x60’ adaptation produced by Marathon Studio and Terence Films for TF1, to Mediaset España and Suspilne Ukraine. The series stars Amir Haddad (Unconditional, Tokyo Nights) and Ludmilla von Claer (L’Apéro) in the lead roles. It is expected to premiere soon on Telecinco in Spain and on Suspilne Kultura in Ukraine in 2027.

In Latin America, Flow, Personal’s live TV and streaming platform operating in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, has picked up the Telugu-language Indian adaptation produced by Annapurna Studios for streamer aha. Starring Santosh Sobhan and Tina Shilparaj, The Baker and the Beauty India is now available on Flow.

The original Israeli series achieved strong critical acclaim and record ratings in Israel, with all three seasons becoming the most-watched drama on Keshet 12 in their respective broadcast years. Since then, the format has travelled widely, with adaptations produced in France for TF1, the United States for ABC by Keshet Studios in association with Universal Television and ABC Studios, the Netherlands for NET5 under the title Bagels and Bubbles, Russia for CTC, and India for aha.

The first two seasons of the original Israeli series were previously licensed by Keshet International to Amazon for Prime Video in a landmark global deal, further consolidating the show’s reputation as one of Israel’s most successful scripted exports.
