The second edition of the Paris Unscripted Showcase opened on June 2 at the Cinema Elysées Lincoln in Paris, confirming its role as a focused meeting point for the international unscripted industry.

The first day opened with a welcome session, followed by the Commissioners’ Briefs, dedicated to the programming needs and editorial strategies of France’s major broadcasters. The afternoon continued with showcases from Dori Media, Primitives, All Right Media, Rabbit Films and CAN’T STOP media.

Dori Media, represented by Nadav Palti, President and CEO, Carolina Sabbag, VP Sales, and Taliah Shahar, VP Marketing, presented updates on Power Couple, recently adapted in Mexico with a new 24/7 formula available on ViX. The company also introduced the new game show The Golden Egg and announced an Italian pilot for The Auction, a format first launched last year in Paris.

Primitives showcased a slate including the Belgian factual entertainment format Don’t Panic, the game show The Golden Egg, Zero Stars, The Ultimate Celebrity Car Park Showdown, Eternal Glory and Hotel Romantiek.

All Right Media presented several titles from its catalogue, including Hammer Time, The Final Trial, Drop Out and Connection.

Rabbit Films highlighted its role as a distributor of formats from Fremantle Finland and YLE Finland, presenting titles such as For the Love of Music, Design Masters, Camp North and Mukbang Dates.

CAN’T STOP media announced the global distribution, excluding the UK, of Pilgrimage, the BBC Two factual entertainment hit originally produced by CTVC. The format follows well-known personalities from different backgrounds and beliefs as they embark on an emotional and physically demanding journey along ancient pilgrimage routes.
