Ría De Vigo International Series Festival Reveals Lineup For Second Edition
The Ría de Vigo International Series Festival has unveiled the official programme for its second edition, set to take place from June 10-12 at the Tinglado del Puerto de Vigo, further strengthening its position as one of Spain’s emerging meeting points for the audiovisual sector and the TV series industry. Across three days, the festival will host six special screenings accompanied by Q&A sessions featuring actors, executive producers, directors and members of the creative teams behind the participating productions.

The programme will open on Wednesday, June 10 at 18:00 with the screening of vertical series Contando los días, introducing audiences to one of the fastest-growing emerging formats in the international market. Later that evening, at 20:00, the festival will hold its first major blue carpet event ahead of the exclusive preview screening of Oasis, produced by Bambú Producciones for Netflix, one of the headline events of this year’s edition.

On Thursday, June 11 at 18:00, audiences will attend the screening of Punto Nemo II, continuing the festival’s commitment to showcasing some of the most prominent projects in the Spanish television landscape. Later that day, another blue carpet event will precede the 21:00 premiere of Ágata y Lola, produced by Portocabo for Atresmedia. One of the highlights of the festival will also be Vigo’s connection to the production, as part of the series was filmed in the Galician city.

Following the Wednesday and Thursday sessions, attendees will be invited to closing cocktails served by Catering El Molino. The screening schedule will conclude on Friday, June 12 at 18:00 with Gastón, un actor de mierda, while the Closing Gala will also host the premiere of Millonarios, bringing the festival’s second edition to a close.

All screenings will include talks and discussions with cast and creative teams, reinforcing the Ría de Vigo International Series Festival’s commitment to connecting audiences and industry professionals with the creative and production processes behind each project. Alongside the screenings, the festival will also feature an industry programme focused on series development and financing, new audiovisual trends, microdramas and pitching sessions for upcoming projects.
