ChaiFlicks Expands Yes Studios Deal With Bloody Murray Acquisition and Shtisel Renewal
ChaiFlicks has expanded its partnership with yes Studios through a new deal for the exclusive streaming rights to romantic comedy series Bloody Murray and the renewal of acclaimed drama Shtisel. The agreement covers SVOD rights for both titles across the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

Neil Friedman, co-founder of ChaiFlicks, said: “Bloody Murray is a perfect addition to ChaiFlicks — highly relatable, sharply observed, and tackling the challenges faced by single working women striving to balance career and family, all with humor. We believe this series will strongly resonate with audiences. Shtisel continues to be one of the most-watched programs on ChaiFlicks, and we’re thrilled that our subscribers can continue enjoying it on the platform.”
Sharon Levi, managing director of yes Studios, added: “We are thrilled to build on our fruitful, long-standing partnership with Chaiflicks by adding two highly acclaimed, character-driven series. Bloody Murray offers an edgy, contemporary take on the classic romantic comedy, with brilliant writing and themes that resonate deeply. Shtisel, meanwhile, has a proven global track record and a beloved ensemble cast that continues to captivate viewers.”

The deal includes both seasons of Bloody Murray, with season one launching in the U.S. on ChaiFlicks and season two debuting as an exclusive global premiere on the platform. The comedy recently dominated the comedy category at the Israeli TV Academy Awards, winning five prizes including Best Comedy Series, Best Script, Best Director, and acting awards for Naomi Levov and Rotem Sela. Created and written by Stav Idisis, who also directed the second season, Bloody Murray follows two thirtysomething roommates navigating careers, relationships and friendship complications after falling for the same man. The series is produced by Kastina Communications and yes TV.

As part of the agreement, ChaiFlicks also renewed rights to all three seasons of Shtisel, the globally recognized Israeli drama that originally premiered on Netflix in 2018. Created and written by Ori Elon and Yehonatan Indursky, and directed by Alon Zingman, the series follows a Haredi family living in Jerusalem as they navigate love, grief and everyday life. The drama stars Michael Aloni and Shira Haas and was produced by Abot Hameiri Barkai and yes TV.
