Maga Animation Studio has launched a new soccer-themed season of animated series The GoGoPig ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Soccer Session will roll out weekly episodes in English, Italian and Spanish for free on the series’ official YouTube channel, which has more than 75,000 subscribers. The company said the new season also includes a technical remaster of the series, previously selected at festivals including Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
The series follows GoGoPig and coach Mr. Cat through soccer-themed adventures designed to promote fair play, inclusion and personal growth for young audiences.
“The response from our 75,000 followers confirms that audiences can recognize quality,” says Massimo Carrier-Ragazzi, CEO of Maga Animation Studio. “We have invested in the growth of this series because we strongly believe in sport as a pillar of health and community. Sport is a powerful tool to help boys and girls disconnect from digital devices and rediscover the value of authentic shared experiences through physical activity. Our little pig conveys a clear message: sport is about physical and mental well-being. It is not about competition at all costs, nor does it require a perfect physique. Sport is for everyone. Its essence lies in breathing, movement and celebrating personal achievements, The real challenge in life is with oneself, striving to improve day by day. We want to tell real stories, made of heart, sweat and passion - the same qualities we will see on the field during the 2026 World Cup. I deeply believe in animation created by artists, not algorithms. Every movement of GoGoPig, every gag and expression, comes from human sensitivity, an element no machine can truly replicate.”
The launch follows the company’s Winter Session, which focused on winter sports during the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
