Seefood TV Expands Celebrity Task Force with new seasons in Sweden and Poland
Norwegian production company Seefood TV continues to build its international footprint, securing new season orders for its format Celebrity Task Force in Sweden and Poland, while its breakout hit The Box continues to travel globally.

In Sweden, Kompani will return this autumn for a fifth season on Kanal 5 and HBO Max, introducing a new leadership duo. Lieutenant Petra Malm and Sergeant Marko Lehtosalo step in to lead the format, bringing a fresh dynamic to the series. The show will once again follow ten well-known Swedish personalities as they leave their comfort zones behind and face demanding challenges designed to push them to their limits. The renewal underscores the format’s longevity in the Swedish market and its continued ability to secure premium platform partnerships.

In Poland, broadcaster TTV is set to launch a fourth season of Celebrity Task Force (Nazi w mundurach) this autumn, introducing its most ambitious variation to date. The upcoming season will feature an all-male cast drawn from contrasting lifestyles, including men who identify with traditional masculine roles and others who have embraced caregiving and modern fatherhood. Some participants have volunteered for military training, while others have not, creating a mix of perspectives shaped by differing views on duty, identity and responsibility.

“This time we would like to go a step further and see if nowadays, there is something like 'real male behavior' that corresponds to the traditional male role model,” said Joanna Sołdra, Channel Director at TTV.

The concept arrives at a particularly relevant moment, as Poland’s proximity to the war in Ukraine brings questions of service, solidarity and identity into sharper focus. “We have always believed this format has something genuinely important to say,” said Aleksander Herresthal, Head of Creative at Seefood TV. “What TTV is doing with this season takes that to another level. It is entertainment, but it is also a real cultural conversation, and Poland is exactly the right place to be having it right now.”

A growing format catalogue
The Polish commission marks the third distinct variation of Celebrity Task Force in that market, following previous celebrity and couples editions, highlighting the format’s flexibility and ability to evolve with different social contexts. Originally launched in Norway, the format is now in its eighth season in its home market and has been produced across five territories, with each achieving at least three seasons. Alongside the rapid global rollout of The Box, and with titles such as The Know Show and Troop also expanding internationally, Seefood TV is emerging as one of the most active Nordic format exporters.
