ZDF Studios is highlighting is new powerful one-hour wildlife documentary "Cheetah Fast and Wild", that combines emotional storytelling, groundbreaking conservation and stunning cinematography.
The film follows Lilly and Iris , two orphaned cheetah sisters raised in captivity, as they are given a rare second chance to learn how to hunt and survive in the wild through an innovative rewilding programme in South Africa. Their journey challenges long-held scientific beliefs and becomes a moving story of resilience, instinct and hope.
Set against breathtaking landscapes, the documentary also reveals surprising new sides of cheetah behaviour and highlights a rare conservation success at a time when only around 6,700 cheetahs remain in the wild worldwide.
