Iberseries & Platino Industria 2026 Opens Accreditation

Iberseries & Platino Industria 2026 Opens Accreditation
Iberseries & Platino Industria has opened professional accreditation and project submissions for the Platforms and Producers Pitch of its sixth edition, set to run from September 29 to October 2, 2026, at Matadero Madrid.
Organised by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, in collaboration with FIPCA and supported by key institutional partners including the Comunidad and Ayuntamiento de Madrid, the event continues to consolidate its position as the leading international marketplace for Spanish- and Portuguese-language audiovisual content.

Over four days, the programme will combine high-level conferences, keynotes and spotlights, Iberscreenings, and the MAI (International Audiovisual Market), alongside strategic industry initiatives such as the Co-Production and Financing Forum, training workshops, and curated networking activities. The event brings together the full value chain—from creators and producers to platforms, financiers, distributors and investors—with a clear focus on fostering co-production and accelerating the international circulation of Ibero-American IP.
Professional accreditation, available both onsite and online, provides full access to the programme and to all project calls. It also includes entry to a dedicated digital platform featuring a participants directory, meeting scheduling tools, and on-demand access to selected sessions. Early bird registration is open until June 11, while applications remain available until October 2.

A central pillar of the 2026 edition is the Platforms and Producers Pitch, which this year introduces two significant developments: the inclusion of Telefe Studios—strengthening ties with the Argentine market—and a new call dedicated to vertical-format microseries, launched in partnership with Río Ancho, reflecting the growing relevance of short-form and mobile-first storytelling.

Across ten pitch calls, selected projects will be matched with major international players including Amazon MGM Studios, HBO Max, Ánima, Dopamine, BH5 Studios, 3Pas Studios, as well as Río Ancho and Telefe Studios. The initiative targets projects at different stages—from early development to work-in-progress and financing—offering direct access to decision-makers through closed pitching sessions.
The calls are open to Ibero-American creators, producers, directors and showrunners working across fiction, animation and documentary, including emerging formats. Each call will select up to 20 projects, with participants allowed to submit up to three projects per call and a maximum of two calls per project (with specific exceptions for the Río Ancho initiative). The submission deadline is April 23 at 14:00 (GMT+2).
