Millimages Expands Molang Universe Into International Publishing With New Penguin Random House Deal
Millimages, the owner and producer of the renowned feel-good brand "Molang", has entered into a worldwide publishing contract with Penguin Random House, the globe's largest trade publisher. This collaboration aims to develop a new collection of Molang activity books targeted at fans aged 12 and older.

The multi-year agreement provides Penguin Random House with global publishing rights, excluding Japan and Korea, for a variety of activity formats. The partnership is set to span three years, introducing Molang’s universe of kindness and creativity to a broader international audience. The first titles are scheduled for release in the summer of 2026, featuring a relaxing coloring series designed for teens, Gen Zers, and Millennials who follow the kawaii-oriented aesthetic.

The initial publishing timeline includes the following releases:
  • "Molang Cafe Cuties - A Cosy Colouring Book" (July 2, 2026)
  • "Molang Friends Cuties - A Cosy Colouring Book" (October 1, 2026)
  • "Molang Dress-up Cuties - A Cosy Colouring Book" (February 7, 2027)
This strategic move follows the successful growth of the IP in the French publishing market over the last three years and complements its expanding presence in global retail categories like collectible toys and fashion.
