Banijay Entertainment has confirmed that its hit quiz format, "Tipping Point", is expanding into New Zealand for the first time. Produced by the local subsidiary Screentime New Zealand, "Celebrity Tipping Point NZ" will air on TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+ later this year, with news anchor Daniel Faitaua set to host.

The format, which originated on ITV in the UK and is currently preparing for its fifteenth season, has seen recent international growth with versions in Australia and Malta. The game show features contestants battling an iconic coin-pusher machine through a mix of general knowledge and luck.
