ATV Distribution has taken on international distribution of Land of the Sun (Güneşin Doğduğu Yer), the new Turkish drama from TIMSBI Productions, which premiered on atv on September 17. The series made a strong debut, becoming the highest-rated prime-time Turkish drama among the AB and ABC1 audience demographics.

Produced by Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar, Land of the Sun is written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali. The drama moves between Berlin and Adana, following Kenan, the charismatic heir to the powerful Kozan family, whose life changes when he falls in love with Leyla, a young woman raised in Germany. Their relationship becomes entangled in family loyalties, hidden agendas and long-buried secrets, as betrayal, separation and a fight for justice put their love to the test. Years later, Leyla returns, threatening to expose secrets that have been carefully protected by two influential families and setting the stage for a confrontation spanning generations.
Burak Özçivit and Beyza Gümülcine lead the cast, alongside Sibel Taşçıoğlu, Görkem Sevindik, Devrim Yakut and Hilal Anay.

With Land of the Sun, ATV Distribution expands its premium drama portfolio with a series built around a family story and emotionally driven storytelling, which the distributor will now introduce to buyers across international markets. The series marks another push by ATV Distribution to bring Turkish drama to audiences worldwide, connecting international buyers with locally rooted stories.
