The BBC has launched a new late-night entertainment format, The Claudia Winkleman Show, hosted by The Traitors and Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman. Produced by So Television, part of ITV Studios and the company behind the multi-award-winning The Graham Norton Show, the new programme follows the classic celebrity chat show format. Each episode sees Winkleman welcoming guests from the worlds of film, television, music and entertainment for conversation in front of a live studio audience.
The show premiered on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Friday 13 March 2026 at 10:40pm.
Best known for hosting the global hit format The Traitors and co-presenting the BBC’s long-running entertainment franchise Strictly Come Dancing, Winkleman now takes the lead in her own talk show for the broadcaster. “I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity,” said Winkleman. “I'm obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”
The first episode features a line-up of high-profile guests. Actor Jeff Goldblum, known for films including Jurassic Park and Wicked, joins the show to talk about his jazz band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. Actress Vanessa Williams discusses her role in the West End musical The Devil Wears Prada, while British comedy star Jennifer Saunders talks about her new film The Magic Faraway Tree. Comedian Tom Allen also appears on the programme to present his new book Common Decency.
