The special Missione Zero episode marked the first step of the new season. In this introductory challenge, the ten competing pairs were unexpectedly summoned by Della Gherardesca while still in Italy and asked to complete a series of tests designed to assess their readiness for the demanding race ahead
The new season officially begins on March 12, when the ten celebrity pairs start their journey across Asia. The route of Pechino Express – L’Estremo Oriente, as the 2026 edition is titled, will take competitors across Indonesia, China and Japan, covering thousands of kilometres and a wide range of cultural and geographical landscapes.
As always, the contestants must travel with limited resources, relying on their ability to find transport, food and accommodation along the way while completing a series of challenges that test their adaptability and teamwork.
