The BBC, Netflix, and ZDFneo have unveiled new imagery for the second installment of "A Good Girls Guide to Murder", ahead of its scheduled return to BBC iPlayer, BBC One, Netflix, and ZDFneo later this year. Produced by Moonage Pictures—part of ITV Studios—for the BBC, Netflix, and ZDFneo, the series is based on the bestselling novels by Holly Jackson.

Following the resolution of the Andie Bell case, Pip is intent on managing the aftermath while vowing to avoid further investigations. However, as the trial of Max Hastings draws near, Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly vanishes, forcing Pip into a high-stakes race against time to locate him.

New promotional stills show Pip (Emma Myers) and her circle of friends back in action. With Jamie (Eden H Davies) missing, the images depict Pip, Ravi (Zain Iqbal), Cara (Asha Banks), Lauren (Yali Topol Margalith), and Connor (Jude Morgan-Collie) reunited to uncover fresh leads and mysteries. Furthermore, as Pip prepares for the courtroom confrontation with Max (Henry Ashton), his cousin Robin (Freddie England) begins dating Lauren, introducing a divisive new dynamic to the group.

The debut season of "A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder" was a significant success for the BBC during its Summer 2024 premiere, ranking as one of the most-watched titles on BBC iPlayer for the 16-24 demographic and becoming BBC Three’s highest-rated drama since its relaunch.

Globally, the first season reached the #1 spot on the Netflix Global Top 10 TV (English) list. The BBC will hold exclusive premiere rights in the UK on BBC iPlayer, BBC One, and BBC Three. Netflix will distribute the series globally, with the exception of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where it will be available exclusively on ZDFneo. In Australia, the series will be hosted exclusively on Stan. BBC Studios is managing global sales.
