Mip London Wraps Successful Second Edition With Almost 2000 Delegates
MIP LONDON concluded its second edition this week, recording nearly 2,000 delegates from 74 countries who registered for the international TV and streaming content market. The event, held from February 22-24 at The IET London and The Savoy, adopted a concentrated three-day format that featured keynotes from YouTube, Goalhanger, Sidemen Productions, and Evan Shapiro.

The comprehensive program included over 200 contributors and expanded its focus on transformational areas such as the creator economy, brand entertainment, microdramas, podcasting, and AI. These sessions ran alongside country showcases and genre-specific tracks for Formats, Doc and Factual, and Kids & Teens. The market registered 750 buyers from 66 countries, with the largest delegations coming from the UK, followed by the US, France, Germany, and Spain.

Looking ahead, Smith added: “Our focus as ever now moves to MIPCOM CANNES, the industry’s biggest and most impactful global market, where we will be expanding the brand entertainment presence and doubling down on bridging traditional and transformational digital sectors at the one definitive global gathering.”

The 42nd edition of MIPCOM CANNES is scheduled to take place from October 12-15, with MIPJUNIOR set for October 10-11, 2026.
