Passion Distribution has unveiled a bold, buyer-driven slate for its London Screenings showcase, featuring a mix of competition formats, documentaries, and true crime.
A major highlight is "Carnival Catwalk", a groundbreaking competition series that combines Caribbean Carnival culture with high-fashion reality. Produced by Itz Rome Entertainment and airing on Peacock in the US, the series follows ten designers competing to create spectacular runway looks.
True crime continues to be a cornerstone of the distributor's slate. "Twisted Sisters: Madness & Manslaughter", produced by Mentorn for Channel 5, examines the psychological phenomenon of folie à deux through the story of Swedish twins involved in a series of dramatic crimes. Additionally, "Outback Murder Highway", produced by Ronde Media for Nine Network, investigates decades of unsolved cold cases along a remote stretch of road in Australia. For high-volume scheduling, the series "Deadly Neighbors" offers murder-of-the-week storytelling and will premiere on CBS in the US before its international release.
In the lifestyle and property genre, "I Bought It At Auction" follows buyers taking high-stakes risks at property auctions. Produced by Little Gem and Knockers TV for Channel 4, the series tracks the journey from the initial purchase through ambitious renovations to the final reveals.
The slate also includes "William: When I Become King", produced by PA Media for Five. This new documentary features interviews with royal historians and insiders to examine the future reign of Prince William and the challenges he will face.
