Unifrance at Séries Mania 2026: 11th Edition of Coming Next From France and Spotlight on The French Selection
Unifrance has confirmed its participation in the 17th edition of Séries Mania, scheduled to take place in Lille from March 20 to 27, 2026. This year, the festival will showcase a lineup of 51 series, including 42 premieres from 16 different nations, with a significant presence of 15 French titles.

The Séries Mania Forum, the professional wing of the event, will run from March 24 to 26, following a successful previous year that gathered nearly 5,000 experts from over 70 countries. Within this framework, Unifrance will host the 11th edition of "Coming Next from France" on Tuesday, March 24, at the Louis Pasteur auditorium.

During "Coming Next from France," Unifrance will introduce six new French series currently or soon-to-be available for the global market. This session provides a strategic stage for distributors, producers, and talent to enhance the international profile of their projects.

The selected titles for 2026 are:
  • "Country Spy" (TF1, 6x52'), produced by DMLS Films, co-produced by TF1 and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma, and handled by About Premium Content.
  • "All Shapes of Us" (TF1, 6x52'), produced by Habanita Federation, co-produced by TF1 and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma, distributed by Federation International.
  • "Sorority" (Working Title) (France Télévisions, 6x52'), produced by Lincoln TV, co-produced by France Télévisions, La Compagnie Cinématographique and Panache Productions, with sales by France tv distribution.
  • "The Nefertiti Case" (ARTE / HBO Max, 4x45'), produced by Incognita and Tripode Productions, co-produced by Hélicotronc, and distributed by Incognita Distribution and Film & Picture.
  • "Zodiac" (TF1, 6x52'), produced by Felicità Films and Partita Films, distributed by STUDIO TF1.
  • "Alice" (HBO Max / France Télévisions, 6x45'), produced by Wild Bunch, Ligne de Front, Palermo Production, Sphere Media and Panache Productions, with distribution by Wild Bunch TV.
These productions reflect the innovation and variety of the French scripted landscape, spanning genres such as action, crime, historical drama, and social commentary. As a partner of the Séries Mania Forum, Unifrance will also host the "Welcome Drinks" on March 23 to kick off networking activities. Furthermore, on March 25, a dedicated lunch organized with WBI, Hub.Brussels, Sodec, and Québec Créatif will focus on Francophone co-productions between France, Belgium, and Quebec.

Unifrance will maintain its usual spot in the Business Lounge for member meetings. Regarding the festival's official selection, 15 French works will compete across various categories, including the International and Short Format competitions. Notable industry figures such as Pénélope Bagieu and Thomas Ngijol will serve on the juries, further emphasizing the prominent role of French talent in this year's event.
