The evening served as the public introduction of a production company built around a strong commitment to talent, cross-format storytelling, and the development of projects with a distinctive creative identity. Producers, actors, creators, and industry representatives attended to support the start of this new venture.
Among the guests were well-known figures from the Spanish audiovisual scene, including Nach Solís, Vanesa Romero, and Paloma Tejero — the latter two recently nominated for the Goya Award for Best Short Film for Sexo a los 70. Other attendees were professionals connected to titles currently in the Goya race, such as Mayte Cabrera (Los domingos), Iván Palomares (Leo y Lou), Carla F. Benedicto (El Talento), and Álvaro Longoria (The Sleeper. El Caravaggio perdido). Their presence reinforced the industry-focused nature of the event, which combined celebration with professional networking.
The presentation opened with remarks from the founders, who outlined the vision behind El Destino Producciones: a company dedicated to contemporary storytelling, open to genre and platform hybridization, and particularly focused on nurturing new voices and emerging talent. A corporate video followed, offering a preview of the company’s creative direction and upcoming slate.
The company already has several completed projects, including the short films Súper Actor and Press Banca. Its activities also extend into audio, with the podcast La Pachanga, and live performance, with the stage production La caja interminable. In development are the documentary Hijos de Hayastán and a fiction slate that includes Corazones Hambrientos, Perdónales, and Una Noche Cualquiera.
Following the presentation, guests gathered for a cocktail reception that encouraged informal conversations and the exchange of ideas. Catering was provided in collaboration with Healthy Poke, the event sponsor and a recurring partner of the production company.
With this official debut, El Destino Producciones positions itself as a young yet ambitious company, aiming to combine creative vision with industrial structure to develop projects across film, digital formats, audio, performing arts, and cultural management. The launch signals a strategic focus on diversification and audience engagement, setting the tone for a business model designed to connect with new viewers and evolving consumption habits.
