Sphere Abacus has closed sales exceeding 150 hours of programming across multiple Asian territories following a highly successful week at ATF, with deals brokered by Asia sales agent Pooja Nirmal Kant of Still Road Media.

In Hong Kong, Now TV acquired a substantial slate of high-profile factual and documentary titles, including Doubters To Believers: Liverpool FC – Klopp’s Era, Gunpowder Siege, Harrods: The Rise and Fall of a British Institution, What Really Happened? American Independence, Escape from Kabul, This Is Joan Collins, King of Lies: Football’s Greatest Con, Special Forces: Most Daring Missions, The Trouble with Mr. Doodle, Twitter: Breaking the Bird, as well as Leaving Neverland and Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson.

Brite Now in Thailand secured a wide-ranging package combining science, health, wildlife, history and factual entertainment, including Operation: Sharklift, How Not To Get Cancer, Trauma Room One, Top Guns: Inside the RAF (Series 1 and 2), Costco: Is It Really Worth It?, Costco at Christmas, How To Paint the Mona Lisa, Yellowstone Supervolcano and the long-running wildlife series Work on the Wild Side.

HK Television Entertainment Company Limited (Hong Kong) picked up premium travel, lifestyle and true crime titles such as Travels with Agatha Christie & Sir David Suchet, Alan Cumming’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys: Scotland, Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa, Billy and Dom Eat the World, The Real Serpent, The Murderous Scissor Sisters and Vanished: The Lucie Blackman Mystery.

In Southeast Asia, Mediacorp (Singapore) acquired landmark natural history titles Life in Colour with David Attenborough and Antarctica From Above, while CNC Media (South Korea) took Top Guns: Inside the RAF Season 2. ROCK Networks (Pan Asia) expanded its portfolio with acquisitions including Alan Cumming’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys: Scotland, Barbie Uncovered: A Dream House Divided, Fantastic Friends (Seasons 1 and 2), The Masked Singer (Seasons 6 and 7), Scrublands and Scrublands: Silver.

Further deals were concluded with AK Entertainment (South Korea) for Special Forces: Most Daring Missions and Kate Humble’s Coastal Britain (Seasons 1 and 2); Alliance Media Group (China) for Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough; Phoenix Satellite Television across multiple Asian territories for Kursk: 10 Days That Shaped Putin; Edu TV (Mongolia) and Warner Bros. Discovery across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea for Genghis Khan: The Secret History of the Mongols.

Commenting on the results, Pooja Nirmal Kant highlighted the strong engagement from Asian buyers across all genres, noting the appeal of both new premium content and established brands. Managing Director Jonathan Ford added that the sales performance at ATF confirms the continued demand for Sphere Abacus’ expanding catalogue of high-quality programming from leading international producers, tailored to diverse Asian audiences.
