KC Global Media Distribution made its return to the Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) to reveal its vibrant 2026 lineup. On the opening day, KC Global Media Distribution took center stage on ATF’s main platform with one of the most attended showcases of the event, filling the venue with buyers, press, and industry collaborators. Four highlight projects shaped the session:
"LAYA", a Philippines drama thriller, was unveiled
with lead actress and social media sensation Andrea Brillantes ("FPJ’s
Batang Quiapo") present to promote the production.
"DECALCOMANIA", a co-production between
Singapore’s Mocha Chai Laboratories and Thailand’s The One Enterprise, garnered
attention for its mystery thriller storyline centered on a body-swapping
concept. Cast members Pierre Png ("Crazy Rich"), Thaneth
Warakulnukroh ("Mad Unicorn"), Cynthia Koh ("Confinement"),
newcomer Gladys Ng, and Hong Hui Fang ("Breeze By The Sea") were all
in attendance to introduce the show.
"LOST AND FOUND", Singapore’s first scripted
partnership with Japanese public broadcaster NHK, was also revealed. The
adventure drama follows a Singaporean gamer who travels overseas to search for
his missing online girlfriend, with actor Shawn Thia taking part in ATF to
support the title.
"A CONTROVERSIAL ENTERTAINER", a Taiwanese comedy
following the surprising rise of five everyday men into top male hosts, was
highlighted with cast members Marcus Chang ("Lost Romance"), Amanda
Chou ("The Devil Punisher"), Alex Chou ("The Chronicles of
Libidoists"), Wes Lo ("The Wonder Woman") and Chih Tian Shih
("The Post-Truth World") participating in the presentation.
