ITV has commissioned Whisper North to deliver a brand-new New Year’s Day special, fronted by fitness coach and broadcaster Joe Wicks. The single episode, "Joe Wicks New Year’s Day", aims to offer viewers an uplifting start to 2026, featuring Joe’s recognisable blend of engaging, inspiring and accessible content.

Created to energise, motivate, and uplift audiences, the 1 x 60 special will include rapid-fire workouts with Joe to get the nation active; nutritious and tasty recipes alongside Nisha Katona of "Mowgli Street Food"; plus celebrity chef Tilly Ramsay joining Joe for a conversation about her inspirations and New Year’s resolutions. Clinical psychologist Dr Julie Smith will share five key tips for maintaining positive habits in 2026, complemented by expert insights on health, wellness and mindset from Javeno McLean, and a celebrity interview and workout with Olly Murs to wrap up the hour.

The New Year’s Day special will be broadcast on ITV and ITVX, providing audiences with a positive, practical and engaging kick-start to the year.
