The finalists for the WAWA Woman of the Year 2025 are:
Beatriz Cea Okan – Vice President & Head of Sales and Acquisitions, Inter Medya
Beatriz joined Inter Medya in 2014 and has played a key role in the company’s international expansion, overseeing strategic growth across Latin America, Spain, Brazil, Italy, and the U.S. Hispanic markets. She currently leads sales and acquisitions in these territories, forging impactful partnerships and strengthening Inter Medya’s global footprint.
Clara Machado – Executive Director of Scripted Development, Endemol Shine Boomdogmari
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Clara has built a career centered on storytelling, production, and client relations. At Endemol Shine Boomdog, she directs scripted development and manages a slate of more than 25 projects annually, including “Como Agua Para Chocolate.” She also champions diversity and inclusion through her leadership of the company’s Belong initiative.
Gachi Ciurluini – Vice President of Content Strategy, CanelaTV
With more than two decades in the entertainment industry, Gachi leads content development, acquisitions, and original productions for Hispanic audiences at CanelaTV. Her work drives strategic growth, creative innovation, and digital engagement, contributing to CanelaTV’s expansion across global platforms.
Patricia Jasin – Head Content Sales Latam / GM Colombia, Warner Bros. Discovery
Patricia oversees the commercialization of iconic IPs—including Harry Potter and DC—across Latin America. With over 20 years of experience, she has held leadership roles at TV Azteca International, Azteca Studios, Fly Content, and Frecuencia Latina International, guiding transformative growth and regional strategy.
Pilar Blasco – CEO, Banijay Iberia
As CEO of Banijay Iberia, Pilar leads production labels across Spain and Portugal, managing major entertainment brands such as MasterChef, Operación Triunfo, Gran Hermano, and La Isla
de las Tentaciones. Formerly CEO of Endemol Shine Iberia and Creative Director at Zeppelin TV, she has produced influential scripted content, documentaries, and international formats. Pilar also heads Banijay Iberia’s Young Adult division, overseeing titles such as Virtual Hero and Memorias de Idhún.
The WAWA Woman of the Year 2025 award will be presented during Content Americas 2026, serving as the official closing event of the market:
