Nippon TV has announced the first international adaptation of its hit action-drama franchise HiGH & LOW, originally produced by HI-AX, the joint venture between Nippon TV and LDH Japan. Thailand’s leading entertainment producers GMMTV and Parbdee Tawesuk will co-produce the remake, scheduled to air in 2027. This marks HI-AX’s first remake deal and further strengthens the presence of Japanese scripted formats across Asia.

Debuting in Japan in 2015, HiGH & LOW is a high-intensity action saga renowned for its ensemble cast, powerful choreography, and cinematic storytelling centered on loyalty, friendship, and street battles. The franchise spans films, series, and live events, cultivating a devoted fanbase throughout Asia.The Thai adaptation, titled HiGH & LOW: BORN TO BE HIGH, brings together 13 top Thai stars with a combined social media reach exceeding 37 million, including Nanon Korapat, Sky Wongravee, Nani Hirunkit, and Pond Naravit. The project aims to merge the franchise’s decade-long narrative universe with GMMTV’s production strengths, delivering a modern, action-driven story of young protagonists defending their beliefs and setting the stage for a new global chapter of the franchise
