ITV Studios
unveils the first round of international sales for Mammoth Screen’s thrilling
new, original interpretation of The Forsyte Saga, “The Forsytes” (6x60).
Initially commissioned by MASTERPIECE on PBS for US viewers, it is scheduled to
air there in 2026, yet the period drama is already winning over fans and media
alike in the UK, where audiences are tuning in via Channel 5.
Alongside
Channel 5 for the UK and the Republic of Ireland, “The Forsytes” has been
picked up by ABC in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand, Virgin Media Ireland in the
Republic of Ireland, Movistar Plus+ in Spain and Andorra, SVT in Sweden, YLE in
Finland, DR in Denmark, NRK in Norway, Tet in Latvia, HRT in Croatia, and HOT
and YesTV in Israel.
Viasat
World has secured a regional agreement for its Epic Drama channel across 22
nations in Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltics. Viasat has confirmed a
panregional deal covering 22 countries in CEE, while Virgin Atlantic will
feature the inflight entertainment premiere of the series.
