The 2025 Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) opened with the announcement of two new global investment initiatives — the Taiwan–Korea Entertainment and Cultural Content Fund and the Far EasTone Creative Entertainment Fund — both designed to boost international cooperation, co-production, and IP development across Asia’s content industry.
Led by Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM in partnership with Taiwan’s Far EasTone Telecom and TVBS Group, the Taiwan–Korea Entertainment and Cultural Content Fund totals NT$960 million (approximately US$31 million). The fund will focus on supporting film, television, music, live events, joint productions, distribution, and worldwide marketing efforts.
According to Sue Wang, chairperson of TAICCA, these initiatives represent more than just financial investment — they demonstrate the growing maturity of Taiwan’s content ecosystem and its increasing role on the global stage. She noted that TCCF is becoming a strategic gateway for international companies interested in working with Taiwan, signaling the island’s transformation from a creative hub into a regional center for financing and co-production.
Sean Cho, VP of international business at CJ ENM, pointed out the value of the new partnership between Korea and Taiwan. By merging Korea’s strong production infrastructure with Taiwan’s creative capabilities, both sides aim to generate entertainment projects with broader international reach and resonance.
