ITV Studios Marks 70th Anniversary with Major Format Milestones and New Global Deals

As ITV Studios celebrates its 70th anniversary, the global production powerhouse continues to expand its international footprint with a slate of new format deals and acquisitions unveiled this fall. Among the highlights is the addition of Solitary, the provocative and psychologically intense competition series that became a cult hit on the FOX Reality Channel.Created by Lincoln Hiatt and Andrew Golder, Solitary places contestants in isolation pods, stripping them of all sense of time, human contact, and alliances. Guided only by “Val,” an omnipresent AI voice, participants face relentless physical and mental challenges until only one remains — the last to quit wins.
The format has previously been adapted in Germany (ProSieben) and Brazil (SBT).

Among other formats, murder mystery reality format A Party To Die For will make its Spanish debut as Una fiesta de muerte, produced by ITV Studios Iberia for Atresmedia. This marks the show’s third local adaptation, following successful versions in France and The Netherlands. The Spanish series is set to premiere in 2026, offering audiences a stylish mix of glamour, suspense, and high-stakes gameplay.

In each episode, celebrity guests arrive at a lavish party — only to discover that one of them has been “murdered.” The remaining players must piece together clues to reveal the culprit, while viewers can join the investigation at home via an interactive app.

A Party To Die For is a format by ITV Studios Netherlands and Talpa Studios, distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

Come Dine With Me celebrates its 50th territory

Global hit Come Dine With Me has reached a new milestone, expanding to its 50th territory with Come Dine With Me Africa (French Speaking), currently airing on CANAL+MAGIC. Produced by 909 Productions, part of the Mediawan Group, the 40-episode series underscores the format’s enduring appeal two decades after its original launch.

As Come Dine With Me celebrates its 20th anniversary, the franchise continues to evolve with fresh iterations — including Come Dine With Me Teens, produced by Multistory Media for Channel 4 in the UK, bringing its trademark mix of dinner-party drama and competition to a new generation.

The show originated in the UK and is created and produced by Multistory Media, part of ITV Studios.

The Chase travels to New Zealand

Long-running quiz hit The Chase is set to premiere in New Zealand, marking its 22nd international territory. The local version, produced by ITV Studios Australia, will debut on November 3 on TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+.

My Mum Your Dad renewed in Brazil

Heartwarming relationship format My Mum Your Dad has been renewed for a second season in Brazil by Globoplay, following its highly successful first edition. Produced by Formata, the series follows single parents in search of love, unaware that their adult children are secretly watching — and influencing — their romantic journeys.

The original version of My Mum Your Dad was produced by ITV America’s ITV Entertainment in association with Rombola Entertainment for HBO Max (US), with executive producers Greg Daniels and Haley Daniels.
