Miky Lee, Vice Chairwoman of CJ Group, received the Arts Champion Award at the 2025 Newport Beach Film Festival in California, recognizing her decades-long leadership in promoting Korean culture and bridging East and West through global media, education, and artistic initiatives.

In her acceptance speech, Lee reflected on CJ’s 30-year journey in entertainment and her mission to connect cultures through storytelling. She highlighted recent projects such as Bugonia and No Other Choice, emphasizing that “art is not just about creation — it is about connection.”

As the driving force behind CJ’s entertainment division, Lee has spearheaded major cross-cultural ventures, including investments in DreamWorks SKG, Skydance Media, and the acquisition of Fifth Season. Her production credits span acclaimed titles such as Parasite, Snowpiercer, The Handmaiden, Decision to Leave, Broker, and Past Lives.

Honored alongside stars like Scarlett Johansson, Brendan Fraser, Diane Lane, Lee Byung-hun, and director Park Chan-wook, Miky Lee was celebrated as a global visionary shaping the dialogue between East and West.

Her long list of accolades includes the International Emmy Directorate Award (2022), Korea’s Geumgwan Order of Cultural Merit (2023), the Global Citizen Award (2024), and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor (2025).
