“The industry has always worked in silos—production, distribution, exhibition, and the audience rarely connected. Our mission is to change that. We believe cinema must work as a whole, not as scattered pieces.” This vision has led ISII Group to build a unique ecosystem: four specialized production houses, its own distribution and communication agency (Deep Com Roots), a postproduction lab, a short-form OTT platform (Divergente), and financial structuring via KBCF Consulting. With facilities in the Canary Islands, the company is attracting international projects and positioning itself as a technological hub.
In 2025, ISII Group produced 19 projects, including feature films, shorts, and documentaries, involving major Spanish stars like Karla Sofía Gascón, Paz Vega, Karra Elejalde, Adriana Ugarte and Maggie Civantos, alongside new creative voices. Among the upcoming highlights is Trinidad, the company’s first superproduction, and Auri, Tal vez and Días de agosto, slated for release in 2026.
Carvalho emphasized that all projects start with the script, supported by the group’s Break on Time competition, which has already attracted hundreds of submissions worldwide.“Great films are built on great stories. That’s why investing in strong scripts is at the heart of our model.”
Looking ahead, ISII Group is strengthening its presence in global markets such as Toronto, San Sebastián, Berlin, and Cannes, with a clear goal: to become a reference point in Europe and Latin America.
“Cinema must matter again,” Carvalho concluded. “We want to build a model that is creative, sustainable, and global.”
