France tv
distribution has launched the international distribution of the series When the
Night Comes (6x52’), produced by Elephant Story. The French distributor will
introduce the title to global buyers at the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Le Havre,
taking place from September 1 to 5, 2025.
The crime
drama created and written by Marine Gacem, directed by Franck Steen, is
starring by Claude Carpentier, Clara Lemaire-Anspach. The series takes place in
a seaside resort, where Stéphanie, Camille, Isabelle, and Nafissa, victims of a
serial rapist, decide to join forces to break the silence.
Assaulted
in their homes in the middle of the night, they recount the same modus
operandi, the same shock. It's a matter of life or death; they must speak out,
louder and louder, to finally be heard by a desperately deaf community. With
the help of Karine, a police officer who sides with them, and Romain,
Stéphanie's tormented brother, these heroines fight to rebuild their lives and
prevent everything from falling apart.
