Mediaset’s flagship channel Canale 5 will air the much-anticipated sequel to the miniseries Fragili on Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14, in prime time. Starring Corinne Clery, Barbara Bouchet and Massimo Dapporto, the two-part event continues the heartfelt story created by Bruno and Chiara Frustaci for Sunshine Production.
Following the first season’s warm reception, which blended comedy and drama to explore intergenerational relationships, Fragili 2 returns to the close-knit community of “Il Casale” as its residents face new challenges, personal growth, and unexpected twists.
This ensemble drama offers an authentic, unfiltered look at human vulnerabilities, telling stories rooted in the present day, with all its fears, tough choices, and the beauty of genuine connections. The new episodes promise even more emotional intensity, intertwining the lives of young and older characters against the now-familiar backdrop of the Casale – with surprise returns, blossoming romances, and relationships tested to their limits.
Episode 1
The youth of the “Arca di Noè” shelter clash with the prejudice of local neighbors while navigating personal tensions. Marco, still hurting from Claudia’s departure, searches for a way forward. Renato and Angelica appear happy, but the arrival of Pippo’s father, Patrizio, shakes their stability. Edoardo struggles with his alcoholic mother, while Omar reconnects with his brother Adam – who unexpectedly captures Mattia’s heart. Meanwhile, Jia organizes the wedding of Rosa and Gianni, as Adele begins a flirtation with a younger man. But the real shock comes when Rosa fails to show up at the altar.
Episode 2
The community tries to mend broken bonds. Rosa and Gianni question their future, Marco opens his heart to someone new, and Renato wrongly suspects Angelica of infidelity. Shaken, Angelica discovers that Patrizio is a thief and throws him out. Enraged, he sets a fire that threatens the entire Casale. Yet from tragedy comes unity, as the young residents and locals join forces to rebuild. This time, Rosa walks down the aisle – and says “yes” for real.
