Global Agency has announced the successful broadcast of the Turkish drama series “My Mother’s Tale” on Sitel, one of North Macedonia’s leading television channels, where the title has quickly emerged as one of the strongest performers in its time slot.
Since its premiere, “My Mother’s Tale” has delivered consistently high ratings among total individuals, posting double-digit AMR figures on a weekly basis and demonstrating strong audience loyalty.
According to official viewing data, the series achieved an average AMR of 14.11% and an impressive average audience share (SHR) of 31.29%, meaning that nearly one in three television viewers tuned in during its broadcast. In several weeks, the drama recorded peak audience shares exceeding 35%, ranking among the most-watched programmes of the day.
Throughout December 2025 and January 2026, “My Mother’s Tale” maintained stable and competitive viewing levels, reinforcing its strong prime-time position and its ability to perform consistently in a highly competitive market. The results further highlight the international appeal of Turkish drama and confirm the series’ resonance with audiences across multiple territories.
" My Mother’s Tale " presents the powerful tale of Zuhal and her battle to bring up her three sons and find redemption after betrayal by her husband, tragedy and dark secrets from the past. Her husband achieves success in business but then loses everything through reckless financial decisions, leading to the family's downfall and leaving Zuhal to pick up the pieces. She had abandoned her career as a minister’s secretary, but as the family is plunged into hardship, she takes on the task of running a bread shop to make ends meet. Her pain is magnified by her sons’ feelings of abandonment and anger at Hasan’s betrayal, and she will need all her strength to overcome that pain and find new meaning in life.
