Established in 1993, MBN stands as one of South Korea's top five major general programming channels. Renowned for its production of high-quality music shows, MBN boasts a year-round lineup of captivating music programs, including the country's highest-rated music show currently on air. Additionally, MBN offers a diverse array of reality, talk, and factual programming, cementing its reputation as a versatile content provider.

MBN's strategic investment in formats, such as Battle in the Box, a globally represented format by Something Special, underscores the broadcaster's commitment to innovative content. With the format optioned in 24 territories and commissioned in the UK, where it will be hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr and broadcast on the Dave channel next month, MBN exemplifies its dedication to fostering global partnerships and diversifying its programming portfolio. Furthermore, MBN has demonstrated its international reach by importing global formats, including the Korean version of Mystery Duets, originally aired on TF1 in France, and securing global development deals in multiple territories.
