Fremantle has acquired a minority stake in Boldprint Studios, a newly established production company led by Phil Harris, former head of entertainment at Channel 4. Boldprint focusing on unscripted formats in reality, entertainment, and factual entertainment, has appointed Lou Hutchinson, former head of entertainment at Twofour, as its creative director. Harris and Hutchinson, both former executives at Fremantle's Thames label, bring over 20 years of experience to their new venture. Harris has a track record of creating major UK entertainment hits, while Hutchinson has a history of developing successful reality and entertainment shows. The company aims to create bold, globally scalable formats, aligning with Fremantle's global distribution plans. Talent development is a key aspect of their strategy, with Hutchinson highlighted as a crucial addition to the team.
