RX France calls for entries for the 5th MIP SDG Awards 2024
Lucy Smith, RX France Entertainment Division Director announced the Call for Entries for the 2024 MIP SDG AWARD, during the UN General Assembly in New York (18-22 September). The Award was established in 2020, to recognise the contribution of, and action by, media companies worldwide to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The MIP SDG AWARD 2024 recipient will be presented live on stage in Cannes, France during MIPTV – in April 2024.

“Inspiring change is what television does best,” commented Lucy Smith. “A MIP SDG Award provides a global stage to accelerate change and show what’s achievable and impactful in these critical areas by highlighting exceptional work that peers can admire, learn from and emulate in their own way.”

The awards form part of RX France’s ongoing membership and commitment to the United Nations’ SDG Media Compact. Founded by the United Nations in 2018, the alliance of media and entertainment companies now numbers over 450 members committed to leveraging their resources towards achieving the SDGs.

Previous recipients of MIP SDG Awards also include Sky, A+E Networks and ACT (Association of Commercial Television and Video on Demand Services in Europe).
Full details of the MIP SDG Award Call for Entries will be published on the MIPTV website in November 2023.
