Netflix includes Arnold, a docuseries about Schwarzenegger’s life and career, to its upcoming series slate
Netflix has announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been appointed as its new “chief action officer,” teasing a new, factual 3×60’ docuseries about the Hollywood star, joining the list of upcoming series to further enrich the global streamer’s catalog. The series is set to premiere on June 7 on Netflix.

Arnold is a miniseries focused on the life of a young Austrian bodybuilding champion who, determined to become an actor, left his family and his country to find his fortune in Hollywood, where he became one of the greatest action stars ever and, later on, even governor of California.

The series will feature footage from Schwarzenegger’s youth, the movies he starred in, and his political career; it will also include personal interviews with himself, his friends and family, his co-stars, foes, and other external observers.

Schwarzenegger also appears in another Netflix Original called FUBAR, which marks his comeback to the action genre and his first scripted television role. He portrays a CIA agent on the verge of retirement, whose last mission is to retrieve a rogue operative. The situation gets even more complicated once he learns that the person he must capture is his daughter. The series co-stars Monica Barbaro, and Fortune Feimster. which. Produced by Skydance Television and Blackjack Films, the 8×60’ series debuts on Netflix on May 25.
