Presented during the Festival of Cannes, the 5th edition of Filming Italy Sardegna Festival, conceived and directed by Tiziana Rocca, that will be held from 9 to 12 June in Forte Village in Cagliari.
The event is dedicated to Cinema and Television with screenings, meetings and presentations of films and tv series, involving the most important distributions and productions of the small and large screen together with the giants of VOD and television entertainment.
This year the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival will take place in collaboration with APA - Audiovisual Producers Association chaired by Giancarlo Leone, with the patronage of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Municipality of Cagliari, the Costa Smeralda Consortium and with the collaboration of Forte Village.
Actress Donatella Finocchiaro will host the event and announced among the awards that will be given to the numerous celebrities present, the Filming Italy Sardegna Women Power Award to the actress known for her originality and vivacity, Rossy de Palma and the Lifetime Achievement Award to Oscar-winning set designer Dante Ferretti.
Also announced many guests, like director Julie Taymor that will present the movies
Across the Universe and Titus; Winston Duke (Black Panther) while the opening movie will be Jurassic World – Il dominio produced by Universal Pictures.
