Rai 1 Montalbano breaks a new record with 9.3mln viewers
The new episode of detective series Montalbano "Salvo Amato, Livia mia" broadcasted by Rai 1 on Monday March 9 at 21.50 after Conte Italian premier speech to the nation recorded 9.3 mln viewers with an audience share of 39%.

The series is based on Andrea Camilleri's novels starring Luca Zingaretti as director and actor. Produced by Palomar and Rai Fiction, the series has been aired since 1999.

Monday night was a special night as the government declared Italy locked down until April 3.
