According to the news published by the magazine Tivù, Luca Bernabei is leaving Lux Vide. Approximately three years after Fremantle acquired a 70% stake in Lux Vide, the paths of the two companies are now parting ways. Lux Vide was founded by Luca's father, Ettore Bernabei, and has been managed by Luca himself in collaboration with his sister Matilde.

Andrea Scrosati, Group COO & CEO Continental Europe at Fremantle and Chairman of Lux Vide, will take on the role of interim CEO until a new appointment is made.

The acquisition of Lux Vide by Fremantle was announced in March 2022. Founded by Ettore Bernabei in 1992, Lux Vide is currently one of the leading production companies in Italy, having produced titles such as Don Matteo, Blanca, and Che Dio ci aiuti. Upcoming launches include Sandokan (Rai1) and Hotel Costiera (Prime Video).
