Inter Medya has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Black Sea, My Love (Sevdam Karadeniz), the new Turkish drama produced by Mia Yapım, the company behind international hit Hercai. The series is set to air on NOW in Turkey.
Positioned as one of the notable new titles of the Turkish season, Black Sea, My Love will be presented by Inter Medya to international buyers for the first time at MIPCOM 2026, taking place in Cannes from October 12 to 15.
Currently filming in Trabzon, the series is set against the dramatic landscapes and traditions of Turkey’s Black Sea region and centres on a longstanding feud between two local families.
The conflict originates in the unfulfilled love story between Hafize Alazlı, played by Ayşegül Günay, and Durali Yeniceli, portrayed by Şerif Erol. Years later, the rivalry between their families draws their grandchildren, Kuzey (Erdem Adilce) and Zeyşan (Meltem Akçöl), into a forced marriage.
Caught between family secrets, old resentments and growing pressure from those around them, Kuzey and Zeyşan are forced to make choices that could determine the future of both families.
Written by Özge Korkmaz and Yeşim Gülay and directed by Aytaç Çiçek, the series also stars Deniz Hamzaoğlu alongside Ayşegül Günay, Şerif Erol, Erdem Adilce and Meltem Akçöl.
Combining romance, family conflict and the distinctive setting of the Black Sea region, Black Sea, My Love continues the tradition of emotionally driven Turkish drama while targeting both domestic and international audiences.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Monday, October 12, on NOW in Turkey.
