CJ ENM has secured two nominations at the 54th International Emmy® Awards for original productions developed across its global multi-studio network. A Thousand Blows, co-produced by The Story Collective, the UK label of CJ ENM’s global studio FIFTH SEASON, has been nominated in the Drama Series category, while Hyper Knife, co-produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS, is nominated in the TV Movie/Mini-Series category.
“Having our works recognized by the International Emmy® Awards proves that CJ ENM's global studio network is truly delivering meaningful results worldwide,” a CJ ENM official said. “Moving forward, we remain dedicated to creating differentiated IPs that deeply resonate with audiences across the globe.”

Set in the gritty underworld of 1880s East London, A Thousand Blows follows two Jamaican friends as they enter the dangerous world of bare-knuckle boxing, where their survival and fierce rivalry unfold against the criminal underworld of the period.
Hyper Knife, meanwhile, is a medical thriller centered on Se-ok, a once-promising genius doctor, and her former mentor Deok-hee, the man who drove her to ruin. Their reunion sets the stage for a confrontation between the two characters. The series features Park Eun-bin and Sul Kyung-gu in the lead roles.

The nominations highlight productions developed through CJ ENM’s domestic and international multi-studio network, which the company says has been strengthened to target both domestic and international markets. The International Emmy® Awards recognize excellence in television produced outside the U.S. This year, CJ ENM productions have been nominated in major categories representing the UK and South Korea.
CJ ENM has also hosted an International Emmy® Awards Semi-Final Round of Judging in Seoul for two consecutive years, a role the company says has further strengthened its position as a global cultural bridge. The winners will be announced at the 54th International Emmy® Awards Gala in New York City on November 23, 2026.
