GMA Network is expanding the reach of two of its Kapuso titles, with action drama Never Say Die and drama series House of Lies set to stream on Netflix Philippines this October. Never Say Die will premiere on the platform on October 5, followed by House of Lies on October 19.
Produced by GMA Entertainment Group, Never Say Die marks the first team-up between Jillian Ward and David Licauco. The series follows Joey (Ward), whose life becomes entangled with Andrew (Licauco), a cynical investigative journalist. Together, they find themselves confronting corruption and drug involvement within government circles, while their search for truth and justice also uncovers wrongdoing within their own families. The action drama features an ensemble cast including Richard Yap, South Korean actor Kim Ji Soo, Angelu de Leon and Raymart Santiago. Sparkle artists Winwyn Marquez, Analyn Barro and Raheel Bhyria also star, alongside veteran performers Wendell Ramos, Ayen Munji-Laurel and Gina Alajar.
Meanwhile, House of Lies follows two women, Marjorie (Beauty Gonzalez) and Althea (Kris Bernal), as they pursue the lives they have dreamed of while trying to protect their families. As ambition, deceit and betrayal enter the picture, their aspirations become entangled in a dangerous web of secrets. Also produced by GMA Entertainment Group, the series stars Gonzalez and Bernal, alongside Mike Tan and Martin del Rosario. Veteran actors Jackie Lou Blanco, Lito Pimentel and Snooky Serna are also part of the cast, together with Sparkle artists Kayla Davies, Angel Cadao, Geo Mhanna and Kokoy de Santos. Tanya Gomez, Patricia Tumulak and Gee Canlas round out the ensemble.
The two series are part of a wider lineup of GMA titles heading to Netflix Philippines, with additional Kapuso stories set to join the streaming platform in the coming months.
