Netflix has acquired the global rights to the live-action family comedy Caper Crew from the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF), excluding Australia, where the series is broadcast by ABC. Produced by Easy Tiger, Caper Crew premiered in Australia in April 2026 and combines comedy, adventure and mystery in a fast-paced family story. The series follows siblings Amelia and Kai Delaney, whose quiet lives in the small town of Woodspring are turned upside down when their glamorous con-artist grandmother, Queenie, unexpectedly arrives and introduces them to her "Ten Con-mandments"—a playful guide to mischief, mayhem and the art of the grift.
Amanda Duthie, Netflix ANZ Content Director, said: "Caper Crew has all the wit, warmth and mischief that Australian children's series do so well, and we can't wait for kids and families around the world to discover it on Netflix. Amelia, Kai and Queenie are about to become firm favourites in lounge rooms everywhere."
The acquisition continues Netflix's investment in Australian children's programming, following the international success of titles including The Inbestigators, Little Lunch, Surviving Summer and H2O: Just Add Water.
According to the latest Netflix Global Engagement Report, children's programming continues to be one of Australia's strongest exports, with 10 of the country's top 20 Australian titles on the platform produced for young audiences. Caper Crew will launch on Netflix in more than 190 territories worldwide, while ABC retains the Australian broadcast rights.
