Studio 55, the brand and commercial partnerships division of ITV Studios, is expanding its global team with a series of senior appointments as the business enters its next phase of growth. Will Scougal, EVP Brand & Commercial Partnerships at ITV Studios and global lead for Studio 55, has announced the appointment of Amy Johal, Remy Kirk and John Taite as Vice Presidents, while Lou Black has expanded her role to become Global SVP Brand & Commercial Partnerships. Following the transformation of ITV Studios’ Brand Licensing business into Studio 55, Lou Black, previously SVP Brand Licensing, will now oversee global growth across two key areas: brand licensing and brand solutions.
Reporting to Scougal, Amy Johal joins as VP Creator Partnerships, where she will lead global creator partnerships and production strategies, expanding Studio 55’s collaborations with brands and creative partners. Johal joins from TikTok, where she led entertainment partnerships and helped develop the platform’s entertainment ecosystem through strategic collaborations with creators, studios and broadcasters.
Meanwhile, Remy Kirk and John Taite join the team reporting to Black, taking on complementary roles across the UK and North America.
Kirk becomes VP Brand Solutions, responsible for developing strategic relationships with media agencies, advertisers and brand partners worldwide, creating integrated commercial opportunities around ITV Studios’ IP. Taite joins as VP Brand Partnerships, North America, leading Studio 55’s US strategy and developing brand partnerships across the region. Working alongside the ITV America leadership team, he will collaborate with agencies, brands, retailers and local partners to expand brand licensing opportunities around ITV Studios’ global portfolio, including “Love Island,” “Hell’s Kitchen” and “The Voice,” as well as create new brand-led content partnerships.
Commenting on the appointments, Will Scougal, EVP Brand & Commercial Partnerships at ITV Studios, said: “Lou's an excellent commercial and creative leader. Her expanded remit, along with the hires of three hugely talented VPs in Amy, Remy and John, bring more focus to the growth and creative ambition of Studio 55 and open up even more opportunities for our partners.”
