ATV Distribution has announced the first international sale of its new drama Different Lives (Altı Üstü İstanbul), with MENA streaming platform Noor Play acquiring the series for the region. The title will be available across 20 countries simultaneously with its Turkish broadcast, marking a significant step in its global rollout.
Premiering on ATV in June, Different Lives quickly became one of the season’s standout dramas, delivering strong ratings from its debut episode. The series has attracted viewers with its emotional storyline, complex characters and realistic depiction of the contrasting social realities of modern Istanbul.

The drama follows Emir, a talented young football player from a disadvantaged Istanbul neighborhood who dreams of changing his family’s future while completing the ambitions his father could not achieve. His life is transformed after the tragic death of his disabled brother, Bahtiyar, during a violent football match. Believing the event was an accident, Emir accepts an opportunity to join the club owned by powerful businessman Galip, unaware that Galip’s son, Uzay, is linked to the tragedy. As Emir enters a world driven by wealth, influence and hidden conflicts, he becomes caught in a battle both on and off the football field. While fighting to protect his family and pursue his dreams, he meets a woman who challenges his beliefs and forces him to question everything he knows. When the secrets surrounding his brother’s death begin to surface, Emir must decide whether to secure his future or risk everything to uncover the truth.

Blending family drama, romance, suspense and the universal appeal of football, Different Lives explores themes of resilience, justice and self-discovery while portraying the clash between different social worlds.
