Netflix has confirmed that A Day Like No Other, the highly anticipated biographical series based on the life of legendary Spanish singer Raphael, will premiere on October 9 across Spain and Latin America. The eight-part drama chronicles the artist's remarkable personal and professional journey, spanning more than five decades of music, success and personal challenges.
Produced by DLO Producciones in association with Caracol Televisión, the series follows Raphael from his humble beginnings in post-war Spain to his rise as one of the country's most internationally acclaimed performers. The story travels through key moments of his career, with settings including Madrid, Las Vegas, Paris, Moscow and Acapulco, while also exploring the man behind the public icon.

Javier Morgade portrays Raphael during his younger years, while Carlos Santos takes over the role in the singer's adult life. The cast also includes Francesco Carril, Natalia Varela, Pepa Aniorte and Manolo Caro.
Directed by Tito López Amado, Javier Pulido and Beatriz Sanchís, the series is written by Ignacio del Moral, Paloma Rando and Adrià P. Xancó. José Manuel Lorenzo serves as producer, with Raphael closely involved in the development of the project to ensure an authentic portrayal of his extraordinary life and career.
