The Monte-Carlo Television Festival is marking its 65th edition with a high-profile program that blends global talent, industry insight and audience engagement, reaffirming its role as a key international TV event. Set to run from 12–16 June 2026 at the Grimaldi Forum under the High Patronage of H.S.H. More than ever, the Festival is a place for encounters, discoveries and recognition of the talents shaping the stories of tomorrow”, said Cécile Menoni, Executive Director of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

The event will open with the international premiere of Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Dead City, produced by AMC Studios , with cast members Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan and showrunner Seth Hoffman in attendance.
The competition juries reflect the breadth of the global industry, with Lesley Manville chairing the Fiction Jury, Susanne Daniels leading the Digital Jury, and Joshua Seftel heading the News and Documentary Jury.
This year’s honors include Crystal Nymph Awards for Kristin Scott Thomas and Kurt Russell, while Ester Expósito and Matthew Broome will receive the International Golden Nymph for Most Promising Talent. Veteran host Michel Drucker will be recognized with the Honorary Nymph Award. The Golden Nymph Awards Ceremony will take place on 16 June and will be broadcast live on TV Monaco.

Beyond the awards, the Festival will feature a broad public program of screenings, premieres and talent-led events, including appearances from casts of long-running series such as Un Si Grand Soleil, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless.
A special documentary, Monte-Carlo, a Festival and 65 Years of Television, will premiere during the event, tracing the Festival’s evolution since its founding in 1961.

At the industry level, the Business Forum will once again serve as a central hub, hosting panels and “In Conversation” sessions with leading creatives and executives including Sue Latimer, Aldis Hodge, Michael Hirst and Rola Bauer. Key topics will include AI in production, audience fragmentation, the creator economy and the convergence of TV and digital platforms.
