WildBrain has presented the trailer for "The Berry Best Baking Show", anew hybrid of CG-animation and live-action series featuring the character Strawberry Shortcake, which is intended to stimulate creativity and culinary enjoyment among younger viewers.

Targeting children aged 4 to 8, the digital-first production serves as the debut content showcasing the character's updated CG look. The initial four episodes are set to premiere weekly on the official Strawberry Shortcake YouTube channel beginning March 19, followed by a second group of four episodes on May 14 and the concluding four on July 9.

Throughout "The Berry Best Baking Show", the protagonist shares her top recipes, ranging from cakes and cookies to tarts and her signature strawberry shortcake. The program allows fans to participate from home with simple instructions and measurements to “bake the magic happen!”.

This project is part of WildBrain’s new digital strategy for the "Strawberry Shortcake" brand, aiming to connect with families on YouTube and leverage nostalgia among young adults on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
